Getting Around
Highway 404 which is located on the southern border of Georgina, provides direct access via the Don Valley Parkway to downtown Toronto, in less than an hour. York Region Transit (YRT) and Go Transit service our region along with Dial-a-Ride (DAR) North is an on-request service provided by YRT/Viva. The service boundaries include all of the Town of Georgina and the Town of East Gwillimbury and you can call this number at least 60 minutes in advance of your trip at 1-844-667-5327. Lake Simcoe also provides direct access to the Trent Severn and Georgian Bay Waterways with several harbours where boats can dock.
